Sarah "Ra" Lippincott

At the age of 5 Sarah Lippincott was beginning to demonstrate her artistic abilities. Sitting at the table with her grandmother drawing and painting was one of her favorite childhood memories. Art was her passion from the start.

A graduate from The Art Institute of Atlanta with a "Best in Portfolio show."Sarah's residences in in New England, the south and the west coast throughout her life has influenced her artwork. Other insipration have come from her studies abroad in the Netherlands, Paris, and Belize.

Her appreciation of nature, the concern for our planet's fragile ecosystem, the complexities of human interaction and emotion impact her outpouring of paintings, charcoal pieces and line drawings.

Family history from Italy and the Napa Valley in California has brought forth a passion for the dramatic play of events leading up to her own life resulting in emotionally infused and unique pieces. Sarah is multi-talented in the art venue.

Work includes illustration, fine art, and graphic design. She has done work for the Atlanta StreetStage Festival, and produced a public mural gaining mayoral approval and media recognition for her contribution to the community.

Her current residence is now in the countryside near Linden, CA where she works as a freelance illustrator. Sarah also shows her fine art periodically in galleries and art festivals.
