Arturo’s first experience with a camera was during his military service in Vietnam.  Following, he studied photography at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, majoring in photography and film.

            Arturo has spent over 30 years mastering the art of professional photography.  In that time, he has received a number of prestigious awards, such as Photographic Technical Excellence and the Silver Cindy.

            He made his permanent mark in the industry by bagging the Multi Image Category of the 1985 “Best in the West Fest.”  His relentless pursuit of excellence was also recognized in 1981 by the Information Film Producers of America.

            He possesses in-depth knowledge of all shooting formats: 35mm, 2¼ x2¼,

4x5 and 8x10; color or black & white; studio or on location.

Arturo’s work evokes a sense of imagination and spirituality not often seen in fine art photography.
